Day 21 - Leap Day

Good Morning everyone, today is leap day...

did you know...

that many years ago, on leap day, it was tradition that women could ask a man for marriage and the man couldn't say no... 

Can you imagine a 450 pound woman coming at you and saying "marry me", "Marry me", "Marry Me"...!  and you couldn't say no...

ok... today...  It's snowing...  again... I mean snowing....(see pic of the day below)...

today I'm staying home, and Matt and Jenni at coming here and working.  Jenni and I are planning on working on www.roastingforks.com and www.campingforks.com as well as starting some of our pie iron recipe sites...  Our plan is to get as many done as possible this weekend....

Day 20

Good morning everyone....

Today is a big day, you see... Matt and Jenni are coming to the office.  We got some standees in and need to be put up.  We have quite a few.  the standees are for "Prom Night", "Forbidden Kingdom", and "Meet the Browns"..  All seem like they'd be pretty good.

currently at www.standeejobs.com was have several regions that we're hiring for movie standee installers.  Including Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus, and Dayton.  As well as any other part of the country.

Today I plan on working on www.pudgypietv.com as well as www.pudgypies.com .  Please a little on www.campingforks.com and www.roastingforks.com with Jenni..  Matt is loading up and heading to Columbus to do standees.

Good day..  sorry for the late writing...

today is a sad day.. I had en eye doctors appointment today..

needless to say....   bifocals...  can you believe it.. bifocals...

no way...please no... not bifocals.....lol...

ok, ok..  let's talk about this....

I ended up going with some contacts and having to wear reading magnifying glasses...  you know for that close up work, computer work, or reading...... 

today I'm working on just one site, www.PieIronUSA.com and hope to start processing orders real soon.  I've got all the inventory and ready to roll.

Day 18 - Tuesday

Good Morning.... and What a morning it has been...

First..My first picture of the day...   this is what it looks like outside right now...

The Kids have no school today, so they are home and will most likely be bored out of their minds.  In turn, drive me crazy...

Well, at least they don't have far to drive me..

 

anyway...
today is going to be a great day.  I'm going to work on several of our sites today.  like..  www.PieIronUSA.com, www.CampingFunShop.com and www.PudgyPies.com and probably more.  I've also been working with Bob on how we can increase our market share with www.FirePies.com and his other sites that he has.  We plan to work together to create a larger market for both our companies.

We both hold several domains (I have 67) and we both know we can turn those sites into great sites with a ton of information for everyone.

One idea we both have is to have videos.  We feel this is going to be a huge part  of the Internet marketing in the future.

I plan having video on www.campingforks.com as soon as possible.  And we should also have video on www.firepies.com soon.

Day 17 - Monday

Hello everyone, welcome to Monday...!  ok.. probably not

the best news you've heard this morning...

 

Today is an awesome day.  I just got a ton of movie standee work orders....  Considering it's been a very slow month for camping items it's good to see any kind of work.

the movies are "meet the browns", "Forbidden kingdom" and "Run Fatboy run"...

I'm hoping they arrive here today so I can hit the theaters to get them installed ASAP..

I still have some camping orders to ship, I figure I'll get started on them right a way...

I guess the "Prom Night" standees are very difficult to put together and have taken folks in California nearly 3 to 4 hours to do. 

My weekend..  I had a great weekend, My wife and I worked and got everything out of a storage unit we had, saving us some money.(always good)..  I get to watch my first Craftsman series truck race..  It was cool, kinda odd to see truck going around the track.

The nationwide series was delayed, then postponed then the spring series was a total mess.. go to nascar to read more..

My wife and I enjoyed each other this weekend..  It was a good weekend...

Today is a pretty good day.  My and and I went and got everything out of our old storage unit and hopefully save us some money.

Day 15 - Saturday

good morning everyone.  It's Saturday.....

ok.. so I'm still going to attempt to get some work done..

Everyone please check out my new completed site..

www.PudgyPies.com it's pretty cool.  I personally think it is one of my better sites.  actually it is one of my better sites.

On the site I also started a new feature.  A links page.  I figured if I wanted a certain search engine to notice that other sites link to one of my site what better way than have all my sites have a links page.  I do not want though the links page to be real noticeable to my visitors, as it's kinda cheesy, old fashioned site building...

Anyway... today is going to be a good day..  I'm heading to the storage unit to finish getting everything out of it today..  and save me some money each month...  then I only have a few things on the honey do list before a race starts at 3.

I've never watched a craftsman truck series race before, and have always only watched the cup series.  So today I'm going to watch a little of the truck and the nationwide races.  I'm hoping that they are just as exciting as the big races.  we're see..

 

Today, I might also work on making some additional conversions of www.airforceonethefinalmission.com .  I am wanting to get it converted to a serif site so I can have more control over the site and better keyword and descriptions too.

Air Force One The Final Mission is a good site and the product is pretty cool.  Anyone interested in the place should take a look at the site and read up.  (and don't forget to buy a book)

Camping Fun.... This is my son last year at our camper...  Having a little "light up" fun with light sticks and such...  man I can't wait to go camping... (... looks like my mother in the background-- Hi Mom!)

Day 14

Good Morning everyone..

today is another one of those two hour delay days for the kids...

I wander if they realize it's also a two hour delay from adults as well.  You know, basically we put our lives on hold for the two hours too.  O well, sent the kids back to bed....

Yesterday was a pretty good day.  I decided I wasn't going to bust my tail working on one website for the entire day or even week.  Instead I decided to do a little to several sites throughout the day.   I did a little work to FunAtCamp.com, CampingFunShop.com, PudgyPies.com,and AirForceOneTheFinalMission.com. I plan to do the same today with them all.  Plus maybe even work on RVLightsUSA.com and PieIronUSA.com.  Seems PieIronUSA.com is having a bit of difficulty getting indexed by the search engines, I'll have to look into that.

Anyway yesterday ended up being a very good day.. Especially later in the evening......!  sweet...

hmm..  This picture was taken from the Campground during one of our little excursions.  We call them "golf Cart Rides"  simply meaning we hop on the golf cart drive around the campground and wave at everyone, chit chat, and head for the trails..  It's a lot of fun and every adult turns into kids instantly.. 

Seeing this picture harkens me back to the days at the campground and makes me more anxious to get back to camping..  Come On Spring!.....

Day 13 - The day after the eclipse

Good Day mate......
Last night was so cool.the whole family and I stayed to watch the Lunar Eclipse.
ok. maybe we stayed up to watch American Idol. But was paused the show
for the eclipse..

Today i'll be adding a few more items to fun at camp.com as well as taking
a look at camping fun shop.com .
I also want to convert AirForceOnceTheFinalMission.com over to a serif page.
This will give me more control on changes, and allow for a more vibrant site.

Here are todays pictures of the day.. Yes.. you guessed it.. The lunar eclipse.
I used our panasonic 8mp, Lumix camera. I think they turned out
pretty good. considering how far the moon is... I think the lunar eclipse
come out just fine...

Day 12 - Snowy

Good Morning.. It's day 12 of my blog..

This morning has not been good, nearly 10 of my sites are down..
The good news is that others are up. The old servers were one
for all.. Still some are down.. not good..
As I write this blog i am trying to remember what i was supposed
to say on here... I remember that family and i discussing it but
I simply have lost it...

ooh.. Troy and i this morning heard a little skit on XM kids and
it was about a pig losing things, so.. I just lost my marbles..
(Troy will understand)..

Anyways..
Today i'm going to work a little on the fun at camp site.
and then start to create a "Franks Marketing" templete for
future sites to be created in short time.
I don't want the template to be tttooo complicated or ttooo
similar where the search engines get them confused. But
just an easier way to produce a dozen sites within a short
time frame.

This morning Troy and I add a few pictures of his origami
to his site.. Origami-boy.com..


Wow...!
this morning it was snowing just a little bit, but the snow
was very flakey, you know... free falling type.. a little
wind would blow it everywhere..

Well, i was driving, with a car in front of me, and a semi
in front og them carring cars. In front of the car carring
semi was a snow plow..
I also had 3 cars behind me..
ok... now the snow plow is going slow.. i'm talking like
40 mph.. and the semi with the cars is getting impatient..
so he decides he is going to pass the snow plow just
as i thought i'd take a picture for "picture of the day"..
What i cought was an idiot semi driver passing a snow
plow on a snowy day... Ooohhh.. one more thing
a car coming from the other direction.....!

Everything is fine... just a little snow..!

Day 11

Good morning everyone. Today has started just swell.
My son (the origami-boy) isn't feeling well today and has
a slight fever. I have decided to keep him home today.
That also means inturn that I am staying home tody instead
of heading to the office.
Last week, i was thinking i realy needed a customer support program
so i could "see" visitors on my sites and how they re-act to the site.
I looked at a TON of products and yesterdaty evening i decided
on "visitorville". Visitorville, is an awesome program that allow you to
SEE your visitors in real-time. It's like sim-city for your website...
very cool.
This morning i have implemented this program across our network
to most sites. Today i plan to check it out more as i work on
the new site of Fun at camp.com
I'm hoping to make funatcamp.com a place folks can go and get
stuff to make camping fun. I mean having fun at camp is the
goal right? so making camping fun is our goal.. (ok, enought keywords here).

Good morning everyone....
Today is presidents day. a day to celebrate a president? hhm...
i was thinking this morning about my grandmother. She was a
big democrat, and i always loved talking politics with her because
i've always considered myself a replublican. we would have a blast
together just yacking back and forth. I think she loved it..
Well, Today the kids didn't have school due to the holiday, and my
office took the day off because the banks where closed ( she is in
the account department of a large company in Cleveland, Ohio)
SSSoo... Today, my wife stayed home with my son, and my teenage
daught come to the office with me today..!
I think it's kinda cool.. I just hope it's not too boring for her...

I figure i've been working on a ton of website lately, i could always
use more photos of the products so i'm having her take some photos
of any and all the products... this would allow me to use my own
photos on the sites... She's really good at picture taking so i look
forward to seeing them...
Last friday bob (of firepies.com) and I have been complicating on how
we can increase our traffic, and to increase the turnover of our
current traffic.
We've decided on something that is on the up and coming on the
web.. video. We're thinking of having a weekly webcast show..!
that would be cool. and we can post the episodes online weekly..!
put them on youtube to increase our traffic and ourselves.
I also want to have small, little videos for our products.. I mean like
when you visit the site looking for; let's say a pie iron. you can
see all the images and a small video showing you features, benefits,
and more.. I think it would increase our sales!...

I know, i know.. mike... on a video... kinda scary......! You know...
these are camping people.. just us ordinary folks having fun...
We're camping people...! I look forward to it.. hhmm maybe a
call in show..!... lol...

Today is a holiday

Today is a Holiday
ok, Maybe not to everyone. But to a lot of folks around the country, today IS a holiday.
you see, there is this little event happening in Florida today...
The Daytona 500.. you konw.. nascar..!

ok, I am a big fan of nascar, and have my favorites, but i love
to watch the race with my family. (my wife like nascar so I'm allowed
to watch it on the plasma... )

Today we're have hotdogs, nachos, beer, you name it.. snack and
juck food all day..

Then tomorrow the treadmill...

anyway.. Today i'm going to finish RVLightsUSA.com
and start to get FunatCamp.com up and running.
I probably won't get much done with the race but you know..
I'll try..

It's Saturday

Well, today is Saturady...!

Today Troy and i are going to create a new little website for him.
He's going to focus on his origami things and simple pictures of
him around the country.
his site Origami-Boy.com will be lots of fun and it will allow us
to both work on a project together.

i'll be working on RVLightsUSA.com in an attempt to get it
finished. then i'll work on FunatCamp.com to get it up and
running.

Day 7

Good Morning...day is a great day..

it's friday...!

Last night was awesome for the family.
We ended up taking the kids out to the movies
and we saw "fools gold" ( actually our daugh didn't.
she met with friends their and saw another movie)
The Movie was great, Kathy and I loved it...
Other than that was it for the night..

Today i'm determinded to get buy buttons for
rv lights usa up and running.
I'm selling all kinds of Patio Lights, Party Lights.
Awesome Awning lights.

Day 5 - The day before V day

February 13

Good Morning,
Well today is the day before Valentines day.
The day that men all over the country attempt to figre out
what they are getting the woman.. Me on the other have
have it all figured out (i think)..
A dinner at Fridays and a movie.. pretty simple... ooh
and of course the roses...


TV.. or television...
Last night was a big night in the Franks family..
you see we have certain shows we watch.. 3 were on
last night.

big Brother - cool. i'm not sure how the couple thing is going to work.
Jerico - fell asleep before i could watch it.. recorded it though
and American Idol.. - lots of people crying.... lol..

Well, today i'm shipping some boxes, and charging some cards..lol
I finished the finial touches last night for campingforks.com and
submitted it to google and msn. Today i plan on working on funatcamp.com
by adding some cool fun products that folks young and old can enjoy
while they are camping.. i think the site should be a hit..

Oh, and campingforks.com has a virtual campfire... very cool...

Day 4 - Tuesday

Good Morning, well it's Tuesday.. another round of elections...

Anyways... It's going to snow today they are saying around
4 inchs or so. We're probably get a dusting........

I decided to stay at the house today instead of treking to the office.
If it does snow, i'd like not having to drive in it..

The Kids really, really, didn't want to go to school today. Kinda
funny, they heard it was going to snow and they thought it would
be cancelled. Some schools around us as closed...

Today i'm going to continue working on some sites like http://www.pudgypies.com/
and pie-iron.com . I'm not sure what i'm going to put on them, but i
figure i should get something up on both of them to start collecting links.

Day 3 - Monday after the grammy's

Good Morning.. ok not so good.
i't about 8 degrees with windchill of about -15.. Cold...
It's 7am and Kathy is off to work. I'm sitting here watching the traffic
from traffic.com and from Channel 19. I think she'll get there pretty easy...
The kids on the other hand, have a two hour delay.. so this means i'm stuck here for a few more hours..

The grammy's...... did you watch..

ok.. all the Mj hype, and nothing. no michael.. what a wimp..

Anyway. here's my low-down.

Tina - hot
Cher - hot
Cyndi - omg - you're getting old.. but hot..
Aretha - big mama.. She's still got the voice...
Mr west.. sweet jacket and shades..
Beatles - cool act. didn't care for parts.. the VW bug was pretty cool.

Overall, wasn't bad. and a little long... what was the deal with winehouse....
is she on something? wasn't good..

Well, today i'm working on another one of my sites. http://www.campingforks.com/
I figure i needed to add some buy buttons. I plan to offer camping forks
by the 4 and 6 packs. Hopefully i get it up and running today..

Well, today is day two of my blog.
i've decided to make both my blogs the same rather than attempt to write two
totally seperate blogs.

we today is Sunday the 10th..
19 degrees outside and windy... sounds like a day to stay inside.
My wife and son are playing sims2 and my daughter, well... who
knows where she is. I think at a friends. That means we'll have
to get out and pick her up here in a bit.

This morning we're have suausage muffins for Breakfast. It's been
a long time sine we've had them.. yyuumm..

I think today i'll work on my websites some more. I'm attempting to
get as many of my camping type domains up and running as quickly
as possible for the spring and summer months.
i know it takes a lot of work to get into the search engines but it
would be worth it.
I plan on working on Camping Forks.com and my new site Fun at Camp
